OWASSO, Oklahoma -

One man connected to a fatal Owasso shooting is now in custody after police say he turned himself in. They are still searching for two other suspects.

According to Owasso Police, Michael “AJ” Hatcher arranged to meet with detectives at the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday night to surrender.

The report says after being interviewed by Owasso detectives, Hatcher was placed under arrested for armed robbery and murder.

Police are still searching for two other suspects related to the shooting, Jacob “Jake” Pepper and Antonio “Tony” Pruitt.

Police say the three men are connected to the shooting death of 26-year-old Emmett Wood on July 24.

Wood was shot around 6 p.m. at Kum & Go gas station in the 8600 block of North Main Street.

He was found in the parking lot and transported to the hospital where he later died.

According to a fundraising page set up for funeral expenses, Wood was a graduate of Skiatook High School and a member of the 2004 state championship baseball team. Wood was an electrician’s apprentice and leaves behind a 3-year-old daughter, the page says.

Police ask anyone with information regarding Pruitt and Pepper to call the Owasso Tip Line at 918-272-COPS.
