Search Underway For Missing Antlers Woman

Authorities are asking the public to help in the search for a missing Antlers woman. Barbara Ann Gunter was last seen Sunday, July 26, 2015, when she drove away from a hospital.

She was driving a 2001 green single cab Dodge pickup with Oklahoma license plate 660DUJ, according to the the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, which is assisting Antlers Police in the missing person's case.

Gunter is 64 years old and in poor health, a news bulletin states. 

She is about 5'6" tall and 145 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. A photo circulated by the OSBI is not recent, as she has lost weight since it was taken, according to Public Information Officer Jessica Brown. Brown also said Gunter has two black eyes from a recent fall. 

OSBI agents have coordinated aerial and ground searches, conducted numerous interviews, and contacted area hospitals. If anyone has seen Gunter or the green Dodge pickup, they are asked to call either the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017 or the Antlers Police Department at 580-298-5513.
