Saturday is the first day of enrollment for Tulsa's EMSA care program. Now through August 31, you can sign up by adding a $5.45 monthly fee to your city water bill.

The program covers all emergency medical transport costs. It applies to all permanent members of your household.

Residents who live in multi-family housing units, like apartments, and do not have a city of Tulsa water bill account, can check with their landlord to see if they're already enrolled in the program.

If not, those residents can sign up directly with EMSA. The total cost for the year is $65 in the company's eastern Oklahoma division.
