Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputies arrested four people on meth trafficking complaints, during a traffic stop in Edmond, Oklahoma, early Sunday morning.

According to the Sheriff’s office, at about 5 a.m., a deputy pulled over a vehicle that made a lane change without using a turn signal at W. Waterloo and N. Portland. While the suspect vehicle was coming to a stop, the deputy said he saw a baseball-sized white object thrown from the passenger side of the vehicle.

The driver, 32-year-old Cindy Marie White, reportedly told the deputy she did not have her license on her.  The deputy said White appeared extremely nervous. When she handed the deputy her insurance card, her hands were shaking and her voice was shaky as well. The deputy later learned that White had a warrant out for her arrest for obtaining money or property by bogus check.

Three other people, later identified as 29-year-old Jerry Ritchie, 22-year-old Robert Witt, and 31-year-old Sandie Walker, were inside the vehicle at the time.

The deputy asked Witt to step out of the vehicle and was granted permission to search him. During the search, the deputy said he found a small clear bag containing a crystal like substance weighing 4.3 grams, and a glasses case with three syringes. Witt admitted the substance was meth and it belonged to him. He was then arrested.

The deputy spoke with Ritchie and was granted permission to search him as well. He said he found $540 in cash inside Ritchie’s pocket.

According to the Sheriff’s office, the deputy searched the area beside the vehicle and found a plastic bag with a crystal-like substance weighing 116.8 grams. The substance field-tested positive for meth. However, all four suspects denied that the meth belonged to them.

All four suspects were arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of trafficking illegal drugs. White faces an additional charge of improper left turn and charges related to her warrant, and Ritchie faces an additional charge of transporting currency derived from violation of CDS Act.
