TULSA, Oklahoma -

A teen is was taken into custody after breaking into Nathan Hale High School overnight. It happened just after midnight.

Tulsa Public Schools police saw it happen live on surveillance cameras, and Tulsa Police officers responded within a minute.  They took the teen into custody in the parking lot.

"He is a juvenile," said Corporal Wyatt Poth. "He was taken into custody and turned over to Tulsa Public Schools."

Poth said it was a burglary, but they don't think there was any damage to the school. He didn't know if the juvenile went to school at Hale but said that is usually what happens because the students are familiar with the school.
