Okmulgee Police Search For Armed Robber

Okmulgee Police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store.

Just after 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, Okmulgee Police received a reported of an armed robbery at the Circle K at 20 and Wood.

Officers said when they arrived several witnesses described the robber as a black male between 5-feet-10-inches and 6-feet-2-inches tall with black clothing and shoes.

Witnesses also said the man wore a white bandana over his face and was armed with a handgun.

According to reports, after the man robbed the store he ran towards the Days Inn. Officers said they searched the area but were not able to find the man.
