Three Earthquakes Recorded In Oklahoma Wednesday Evening

A small earthquake was recorded near Helena, Okla., in Alfalfa County Wednesday evening.

Three earthquakes were recorded in Oklahoma, Wednesday evening.

The first 3.2 magnitude earthquake, struck at approximately 6:13 p.m. Its epicenter was located eight miles west of Helena, 31 miles west northwest of Enid, and 53 miles east of Woodward.

It was about over under a mile deep.

The second, a 3.9 magnitude earthquake, struck at approximately 7:47 p.m. Its epicenter was located seven miles east northeast of Cherokee, 34 northwest of Enid, and 63 miles west of Ponca City.

The third, a 3.5 magnitude earthquake, struck at approximately 7:49 p.m. Its epicenter was located eight miles northeast of Cherokee, 37 miles north northwest of Enid, and 65 miles west of Ponca City.

There have been no reports of injuries or damages associated with any of the earthquakes.
