Cooler Temps With More Storms Possible In NE Oklahoma

A cold front that swept through northeastern Oklahoma brought rain and storms for Sunday morning. Muskogee broke their rainfall record for today and locations such as Grove down to Jay had over 2” of rain.

The main thunderstorm activity will stay along the front as that continues to shift southeast. 

The cold front should stall out Sunday evening as it cross the Red River, and showers and storms are expected to move back over southern Oklahoma this evening and early part of tonight.

Up above, at about 5,000 feet, another cold front will move into northern Oklahoma and spark some development of showers and storms for Monday morning. This upper level front looks to move in around midnight or shortly after and sit through the morning hours before moving southeastward in the afternoon. This will bring another chance for showers and storms on Monday morning.
