Man At Tulsa Motel Wakes To Room Filled With Smoke

Tulsa Fire Department responded to a fire at a Motel 6 near the Interstate 44 and Memorial around 9 a.m. Sunday. Bradley Spencer said he woke up to find the bed next to him completely engulfed in flames..

Spencer said he ran from the room and went door to door trying to wake up other guests.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire to the one room, but a few rooms were evacuated temporarily. 

Two people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
