JENKS, Oklahoma - The Jenks Fire Department and Tulsa Fire's HAZMAT crew responded after a tanker truck carrying ethanol rolled over early Tuesday.

The crash was at the intersection of 101st and Elwood, about a half-mile north of the Creek Turnpike.

Jenks Police said the semi, carrying 7,800 gallons of ethanol, was headed south on Elwood when it went off the road causing its load to shift and the semi to roll over.

The truck didn't leak any chemicals. A remediation crew arrived and transferred the ethanol from the crashed truck to anther tanker before putting it back on its wheels. The crew finished that process Tuesday afternoon and police reopened South Elwood.

Police said the driver was taken to a Tulsa hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
