Walmart said it was plumbing problems, but the rumors swirled when the store at Admiral and Memorial closed in April.

The "temporarily closed" signs have been up for months now, but those will soon come down as Walmart announced Wednesday the store will reopen in late October or early November.

The store looks the same on the outside, but we're told it's been renovated.

A company spokesperson said the meat, dairy and produce sections have been renovated, along with the baby and electronics aisles.

Register equipment is also updated.

While that's exciting for shoppers like Heather Humphreys, “I am ready for it to open," she said, it hasn't stopped the rumors and conspiracy theories.

Nicole Harris said, "Plumbing issues...I don't think so."

"It's a government conspiracy. They are feeding us a bunch of lies," Kayla Williams said.

Some have suggested the store wasn't closed for plumbing problems, but was, instead, used for Jade Helm military training; but those theories might be dispelled when the store reopens.

"You mean no Jade Helm government takeovers? No conspiracy theories come true? Sad day," Tim Heitzman said.

But it's a happy day for Humphreys, who's had to go out of town to buy groceries and diapers.

"I will be glad when it reopens so I don't have to drive all the way to Catoosa," she said.

Before closing, Walmart let go all employees at the store.

A hiring center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Village Square Shopping Center. About 350 associates will operate the store.

Walmart released a statement Wednesday saying, "We thank the community for their patience as we work through these issues and are excited to give our customers a store that better reflects the shopping experience we are providing today in other markets across the country."

You might remember, back in April Walmart also temporarily closed stores in California, Texas and Florida for plumbing problems.

A company spokesperson said this store had more than 100 plumbing problems prior to the closure.
