Okmulgee Police tracked a man wanted in connection with a shooting in their community to Tahlequah where he was arrested Wednesday.

Okmulgee Police tracked a man wanted in connection with a shooting in their community to Tahlequah where he was arrested Wednesday.

According to Okmulgee Police Chief Joe Prentice, detectives believe 18-year-old Daniel Tabbytite shot a person in the leg during a robbery attempt in the 600 block of South Alabama late Monday.

He says Okmulgee Police and U.S. Marshals found Tabbytite as he was climbing out the window of a Tahlequah residence.
