The Osage Nation will be renovating its casino and adding a hotel at its north Tulsa site on 36th Street North and the Tisdale Expressway - pending approval by the Osage Congress in mid-September.  The new hotel will have 132 rooms including six suites, a fitness center and pool. They will also have a ballroom and break-out rooms for conventions.

“The Tulsa Casino is the flagship of the Osage Nation Gaming Enterprise and is responsible for more than 44 percent of the net income for our entire gaming enterprise,” said Byron Bighorse, Osage Casino’s CEO.  The Osage Nation has made improvements to their casinos in Skiatook and Ponca City and is now focusing on the Tulsa flagship, he said in a news release.

The renovated casino will be 88,000-square feet with space for over 1,500 gaming machines, 20 table games and five poker tables.

The renovation will also add a sports bar and grill, cafe and additional casino bar.

If the plans are approved, construction will start with the removal of the center section of the current building.

"Once the casino renovation is complete, the new hotel will be built on the current site of the existing casino and all construction areas will move to the north and east of the facility," the release states. They hope to eventually add additional hotel rooms, a parking garage and an entertainment venue.
