Car Rolls Down Embankment In Avery Drive Crash

A car was badly damaged after it left Avery Drive and rolled down an embankment Friday afternoon. Tire tracks indicate the car ran off Avery Drive near Chandler Park and rolled towards the railroad tracks south of the Arkansas River.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were en route to investigate the wreck. Berryhill and Sand Springs emergency responders were also at the accident site.

A woman who appeared to be uninjured was cleaning up objects that are believed to have been thrown from the vehicle. We understand at least one person in the car was injured, but their condition is not yet known.
