Oklahoma City fire crews are investigating after a deadly fire at a SW metro duplex Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to the fire at 209 SW. 24th St. just before 4:30 a.m. Upon arrival, there was visible light smoke.
Concerned citizens at the scene were trying to kick in the door of one of the duplexes, then fire crews took over. The fire was quickly extinguished once fire crews entered the residence.
One victim was rescued, but that victim later died at the hospital.
The victim's name has not been released at this time.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
