Two men were arrested after leading Tulsa Police on a chase early Monday.

Officers said the chase began just after midnight when a police officer tried to stop a Cadillac at 28th and Memorial for a traffic violation.

The car took off and the chase wound its way through east Tulsa before the driver hit a raised manhole cover and crashed in the 3000 block of South 101st East Avenue.

Darian Williamson, 23, and Courtney Palmer, 22, got out and ran.  Both were both arrested after a short foot chase.

Williamson was booked into jail on complaints of eluding, hit and run, resisting arrest and operating a vehicle with defective headlights.  Palmer was booked on a complaint of obstructing justice as well as several outstanding warrants.

Jail records show both have court appearances set for September 28.
