OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - The leading Republican candidate for president is in Oklahoma.

Donald Trump will speak to supporters at the Oklahoma State Fair around 6:30 and supporters are looking forward to hearing what he has to say.

Trump started his day of campaigning at the Value Voters Summit Friday morning and tweeted to his social media fan base, "Ahead of schedule and under budget! Will be in Oklahoma tonight!"

When Trump landed in Oklahoma City, Friday, Osage SkyNews 6 HD was there for his arrival and motorcade to the state fair.

We found Trump supporters at the Oklahoma State Fair already gathered for his speech.

They started lining up at the Oklahoma County Republicans booth to get campaign signs and the "Make American Great Again" hats and t-shirts.

Supporters like Todd Morrow and Charles Jackson said they couldn't believe “The Donald” would come to Oklahoma to court voters.

"I was kind of excited about it. I'd like to hear what he has to say. I think he could possibly do mostly financial good for the country," Morrow said.

Jackson said, "We need somebody like Trump to stand up and kind of say what everybody else is thinking, but too scared to say."

Trump is expected to speak at 6:30. All people needed to do for the event is sign up and pay regular admission into the fair.
