Two Earthquakes Rattle Residents Near Perry

Two earthquakes, including a 4.0 magnitude, were recorded near Perry, Oklahoma, early Thursday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, at 12:56 a.m., a 4.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded three miles southeast of Perry, and 13 miles northwest of Stillwater. It was about a mile deep.

At 2:47 a.m., another 3.2 magnitude earthquake was in the same location. It was about a mile deep.

Several News 9 viewers near the epicenter reported feeling these earthquakes. No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
