SAPULPA, Oklahoma -

Sapulpa police are looking for the vandals who hit the high school baseball stadium not once, but twice, causing several thousands of dollars in damage.

Police said the vandals first struck Monday night when they broke into the concession stand and stole some food.

Tuesday night police said they struck again, this time much bigger.

Wednesday, a group of Sapulpa moms and school workers did their best to keep up their Chieftain Pride after the high school's baseball building was vandalized.

Someone smashed the windows, slashed the chairs and smeared food all over the floor.

The team's washer is broken as well as their 60-inch TV and the pop machine.

Nothing was spared, according to Major Mike Reed with Sapulpa Police.

"They just completely destroyed the entire inside of the building," he said.

Reed said he's not sure if it’s is the handiwork of one person, or if there was a group of vandals.

They also hit the nearby Sapulpa City Golf Course and tore out the AC wall unit.

"It was like, 'Wow.' Because the further you get into the building, the more you're seeing it. It's like, 'Wow, they went through the whole building, tearin' stuff up,'" Reed said.

Police said there are a few things missing from the baseball building, including a leaf blower, but the vandals weren't so concerned with stealing as they were destroying.

Reed said, "Yeah there was - just really ornery or some anger involved."

Police said they have an idea of who could be behind the vandalism, but don't have any solid leads, yet.

They’re asking anyone that might have information to call the Sapulpa Police Department at 918-224-3862.
