Tulsa’s district attorney isn’t happy a judge let Steven Wade Jameson out of prison on a $60,000 bond.

Jameson pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree manslaughter in connection with a Christmas Eve crash that killed three members of the Mulanax family.

Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler said he will appeal the decision.

"It is our position that bond was inappropriate. We are rigorously opposing what happened yesterday in judge Caputo's court," Kunzweiler said.

When he got out, Jameson had only served four years of a 24-year sentence.

His attorney said the prosecutor’s case rested on the fact that his client was driving with a suspended license, but the defense said Jameson never knew his license had been suspended, and a judge ruled the City of Stillwater didn’t have the authority to suspend it.
