A Bartlesville teenager was taken to a Tulsa hospital early Monday to remove an arrow.
Police say a homeowner shot the 19-year-old with a compound bow after the homeowner was assaulted at about 12:40 a.m. at a home in the 1500 block of SW Colorado Street.
They said a private vehicle took the teen to a Bartlesville hospital where he was then transferred to a Tulsa hospital.
Police believe several people including the victim had gone to the home to fight. They said the homeowner came outside and shot the teen as the teen ran toward the porch.
Police Captain Jay Hastings says once their investigation is complete they will forward the case to the Washington County District Attorney's Office to determine what if any charges will be filed.
