Theft Of Electricity May Be Connected To Second Tulsa House Fire

An investigation is underway after a fire damages a Tulsa home Monday morning.

An investigation into the theft of electricity is underway after a fire damages a Tulsa home Monday morning.

Tulsa firefighters say a man a home in the 2600 block of East Admiral Court had gotten out by the time they arrived.  They said he was treated at the scene and released.

District Fire Chief Bryan Hickerson says the fire started in the back of the home and spread to the front causing fire, smoke and water damage.

This is the second house fire this week which may be connected to the theft of electricity.  On Sunday, police are working with fire investigators to determine if the theft of electricity may be connected to a fire in the 7100 block of East 5th Street.
