TULSA, Oklahoma - A Green Country woman is celebrating a big birthday, her 100th.

Friends and family helped make Mary Wells’ day special with lots of birthday cake.

Mary is now part of the Centenarians of Oklahoma - she's the 1,936 person to turn 100 in Oklahoma since 1991.

She still has the quick wit.

Wells: “The same as it did when I was born I guess."

Wells: “Well I found that out, yes I did."
News On 6: "What got you to 100?”
Wells: “Well, writing it down on a piece of paper, saying I am 100 years old."

At any given time there are 600 Centenarians living in Oklahoma.
