Dez Bryant is back on the field, running and cutting full speed.

The All-Pro receiver has been sidelined since Week 1 due to a broken bone in his right foot he suffered during Dallas' 27-26 win over the Giants.

On Thursday, Dallas coach Jason Garrett stated that Dez is “day to day” and hasn’t been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Giants, (reports NFL Network’s Desmond Purnell).

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told CBS Sports Radio’s 105.3 The Fan that this could be the week that Dez plays. "If he's comfortable to putting it down and driving off of his foot then we're comfortable with him playing.”

Dallas is currently 2-3, and also without its leading quarterback Tony Romo who is out with a fractured clavicle that he sustained in Week 2. As of now, he’s healing well and making progress but still unable to throw.

If Dez is healthy enough to return this weekend, it would give Dallas the boost it needs, and also make things much easier for Matt Cassel in his first start for the Cowboys.
