The Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a shooting suspect. Sheriff Ron Lockhart said Anousith Mike Inthavong should be considered armed and dangerous. They released a photo of him Friday.

Inthavong may be driving a silver, four-door 2011 Toyota Camry with Arkansas tag 466-SKK. He is from the Fort Smith area.

The 27-year-old Laotian man is wanted in connection with the shooting of 42-year-old Melinda Stephenson in Muldrow. Investigators say Inthavong and another man shot her then dumped her near a ditch off of Old Highway 64 east of Muldrow.

Stephenson remains in critical condition after being shot four times in the torso, Lockhart said in a news conference Friday.

Another suspect, Sahalat Patrick Xayavongsa, is in custody. He was arrested after being questioned by police in Fort Smith, authorities say. Both men are facing felony complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon with no bond.
