Approximately half-a-million dollars worth of Hydro, a high grade marijuana, is now off the streets thanks to a four-legged friend of the Canadian County Sheriff.

Officials believe the drugs came from California and were on their way to Chicago or Indianapolis. Forty-three-year-old Rafael Galvan of Waterford,California, was seen violating several traffic laws on I-40 just west of El Reno. A Canadian County Sheriff's deputy pulled Galvan over, but Galvan's behavior tipped off the deputy to call for "Pickles," the Drug Detector Dog to sniff out the car.

Pickles sniffed out 100 pounds of high grade marijuana known as Hydro. That pot was stuffed into 72 plastic bags, covered in baking soda and placed into two black duffle bags.

The bags weren't very well-hidden in the trunk of a car driven by Galvan. Galvan was taken into custody and booked into the Canadian County Jail. Bond was set at $100 thousand. He told deputies he didn't know there were drugs in the car nor did he know how they got there.
