OOLOGAH, Oklahoma -

The Vinita-Oologah high school football game has been moved up a day because of the threat of bad weather.

The game was set to be played Friday, October 30, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in Oologah. Instead, it will be played 24 hours earlier. Part of the concern is that Oologah was planning to honor its senior players at the game.

Athletic Director Brandon Craig released the following statement about the game

"Due to severe weather and potential flooding Friday, the football game has been moved to Thursday at 7:30 pm. Senior Night will go on as planned."
