OWASSO, Oklahoma - Owasso Police arrested a woman and a teenager Thursday afternoon after finding a large quantity of drugs in their home.

Just after 5 p.m. police got a call from someone worried about a child's welfare in the 500 block of North Beaumont. Officers said they could see illegal drugs in plain view inside the home.

They called in detectives who recovered approximately 55 pounds of marijuana, four ounces of methamphetamine and a handgun.

They arrested Michelle R. Kraft, 34, and Jeffrey Scott Barnes, 19. Police took three children -- ages five, eight and 15 -- in protective custody.

Kraft and Barnes face complaints of child neglect and drug trafficking complaints.
