'Disciplinary Problem' Leads To Lockdown For Jenks High School

Posted: Updated:
JENKS, Oklahoma -

It’s the end of the school day, but the few remaining students at Jenks High School were placed on lockdown after a disciplinary problem with a student.

The student then ran from school officials, they said.

Jenks Public Schools officials said there wasn’t a gun seen, but the school was placed on lockdown after 3 p.m. as a precaution as they search for him.

It was lifted about 30 minutes later. The campus has been cleared, officials say.
