A man with a blue bandana covering his face robbed the convenience store at a Phillips 66 Sunday afternoon. Police say the man robbed K & K Food Store at 31st and Yale around 1:30 p.m.

The robber kept a hand in his pocket, implying he had a gun, records show. The suspect got money out of the safe then left walking through an alley.

Tulsa Police responded with a K9 and tracked the suspect to a street west of Yale where they believe he got into a vehicle.

"As he fled, he lost some of that money," said Corporal Scott Anderson. The man took rolls of coins, and some of them fell after his money bag broke.

If you know anything about this robbery, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
