A 4.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Langston, Oklahoma, Monday morning.

A 4.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Langston, Oklahoma, Monday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 10:57 a.m. Its epicenter was located four miles west of Langston, five miles northeast of Guthrie, 19 miles southwest of Stillwater, and 20 miles north, northeast of Edmond.

It was about three miles deep.

Many News 9 viewers reported feeling this earthquake.

Another 3.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 11:35 a.m., five miles northeast of Guthrie and 19 miles southwest of Stillwater. It was also about three miles deep.
