Jenks Schools, Police Thank Community For Helping In Search For Missing Student

Jenks Public Schools Superintendent Stacey Butterfield thanked everyone who helped to search for a missing Jenks West Intermediate School student Wednesday afternoon.

Jenks Public Schools Superintendent Stacey Butterfield thanked everyone who helped to search for a missing Jenks West Intermediate School student Wednesday afternoon.  

During a news conference Thursday morning, Butterfield and Jenks Police talked about the search for Dillion Horn and up to when he was found late Wednesday at Main Street and Highway 75.

Jenks Police Sgt. Jason Jackson said a number of local law enforcement agencies were involved in the search effort and well as Jenks residents and residents from Tulsa and other neighboring communities.

Jackson says at the height of the search effort they had 160 search teams looking for Horn.
