Tulsa Symphony Brings Music To Sand Springs Elementary Kids

Posted: Updated:
SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -

The animals came to life Wednesday for elementary students in Sand Springs, thanks to the Tulsa Symphony's presentation of "Carnival of the Animals."

The student's artwork and poetry accompanied the music, and that's the part that News On 6 anchor Scott Thompson narrated again this year.

The Tulsa Symphony has an active outreach program with local schools, made even more memorable, in this case, when the musicians make chickens, lions and swans come to life.
