Arkansas Man Wanted For Child Sex Crimes Booked, Posts Bond In Tulsa

An Arkansas man wanted in Tulsa County for lewd molestation and soliciting child pornography was booked and released from the jail on Sunday.

Investigators say they had been looking for Stephen Duwel, 50, of Rogers, Arkansas, since Nov. 18, which is when charges were filed.

Duwel is a former swim coach. He was arrested in Arkansas in July after police say he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy there. Court records show the two met on the mobile application “Grindr."

Tulsa County jail records show he posted $65,000 bond and was released an hour later.
