Highway 169 Narrowed For Bird Creek Bridge Repairs

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation reports all lanes of Highway 169 are open after emergency bridge deck repairs at Bird Creek Monday.

"A small hole was discovered in the deck this morning, and crews anticipate it will take several hours to repair, weather permitting," a release states.

ODOT closed one of the northbound lanes until about 3:30 p.m. It also closed the right lane of southbound Highway 169 between 66th Street North and 56th Street North for surface maintenance.

Both of these closures were inside a work zone. ODOT warned drivers to seek an alternate route but that warning has since been lifted.
