Woman Leads Officers On Chase, Crashes Into Power Pole In BA, Police Say

PSO crews are reporting to Broken Arrow after a police chase ended with a woman crashing into power pole near the BA Expressway and 177th East Avenue.

The crash took place about 11 p.m. on Wednesday and briefly took out power to the area.

Broken Arrow police said they attempted a traffic stop, but she kept driving until she hit the pole.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said they believe she had been drinking.

While PSC crews work, road blocks are up on Hillside Drive - one west of Sprouts and east of Charleston.
