Promenade Mall Hosts 'Sensitive Santa' Event

Malls across the nation are providing Sensitive Santa days for children on the autism spectrum and with special needs. Santa visited with kids at Promenade Mall Sunday - before it even opened to shoppers.

Children on the autism spectrum and those with special needs were invited to sit on Santa's lap. 

The event featured dimmed lights and quieter music. Every family that attended got a free 4-by-6-inch photo. The special event was from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday.

Promenade Mall is at 41st and Yale.
