Body Of Missing Mayes County Man Found In Submerged Car

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the body of a man has been found in a submerged car in a creek just south of Pryor.

Investigators said the man is Eldon Blackwell and he was the subject of a silver alert Tuesday afternoon.

The 75-year-old man was reported missing to Pryor Creek Police after he left home to pick up Christmas decorations at Walmart.

OHP is investigating how Blackwell's car ended up in the water.
