Child Critical, Two More Injured, After BA Daycare Van Rolls

Three children and an adult were taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after being involved in a crash; one child is in critical condition.

According to Sergeant Thomas Cooper with the Broken Arrow Police Department, around 4:00 Friday afternoon, a van with one adult and eight children was turning left from Pecan onto 91st Street and was T-boned.

Cooper said the van rolled once and ejected one child. The child is now in critical condition.

The sergeant said two other children were taken to the hospital and are in, “serious but stable condition.

The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK.

The crash is still being investigated, but reports say it appears the driver of the van failed to yield.
