Man Arrested In Murder Of Estranged Wife In Taloga

A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the murder of his estranged wife inside her home in Taloga, Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI,) Lanne Baldwin was arrested Sunday night in the shooting death of his estranged wife, 26-year-old Cassandra Baldwin.

On Wednesday, January 6, Dewey County Sheriff’s deputies said they found Cassandra Baldwin dead of a gunshot wound inside her home in the 400 block of N. Francis. Lanne Baldwin had also been shot, but he was alive.

Lanne Baldwin was transported to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Sunday night, OU Medical Center police officer arrested him on a first-degree murder warrant and booked him into the Oklahoma County Jail.

Dewey County sheriff deputies will transport him back to that jurisdiction. The Dewey County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI investigative assistance with this case.
