As a young girl, Lisa would tell her family and friends "Someday I'm going to join the team at News on 6." The goal turned into a reality in August 2011.
Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Lisa considers Mustang her hometown. She graduated from Mustang High School and continued her education at the University of Central Oklahoma. While at UCO, she interned with Entertainment Tonight and worked for KCSU-TV in Edmond.
As a college student, Lisa earned her first job in television, working an assignment editor and reporter for KOKH Fox 25 News in Oklahoma City.
A year later, Lisa moved to Sherman, Texas as a morning reporter, anchor, and producer for KXII. Lisa enjoyed the opportunity to work in a two state market telling stories important to Northern Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma before getting eager to get back home.
Lisa returned to Fox 25 News as a reporter and weekend anchor. During her 5 years with KOKH, Lisa uncovered stories important to Oklahomans.
Her investigations into Speed Traps and Dog Dealing in Oklahoma led lawmakers to strengthen regulations in Oklahoma.
Lisa is an award winning journalist who enjoys having fun with her husband Philip, family, and friends. When not at work, you will likely catch Lisa pursuing her photography business, working out, or playing with her puppies Ellie & Kala.
Although being a reporter has been a lifelong passion, Lisa considers family and friends as the backbone to her success.
