Oklahomans voted on several issues in special elections Tuesday, including Rick Brinkley's vacant state senate seat.

The former Republican senator from Owasso resigned after admitting to stealing almost $2 million from Tulsa's Better Business Bureau while serving as its CEO.

Tuesday, voters flipped that seat from Republican to Democrat - with 56 percent of the vote Democrat J.J. Dossett defeated Republican David McLain.

Dossett will serve the remaining three years of Brinkley's original four-year term.
