Summit League play continues on the road this weekend for the Oral Roberts men's basketball team as the Golden Eagles begin a two-game road trip at IUPUI Thursday night before facing Western Illinois in Macomb, Illinois, on Saturday.

Thursday's game will tip off from Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis at 6 p.m. (CT) and will be broadcast online through ESPN3 and will be available through the WatchESPN app. Geoff Haxton's radio call of the game can be heard at 97.1 FM in the Tulsa area and around the world for free through www.ORUAthletics.com and through the ORU Athletics Front Row App.

Quick Hits
• One of the oldest rivals on the schedule this year, ORU leads the all-time series with IUPUI 25-12. The 37 meetings are the second most to a team on the 2015-16 schedule, only behind Tulsa (51 meetings).

• ORU and IUPUI have a history of close games, playing a total of 10 overtime periods over the years. Two of those have come in the last four contests.

• A win Thursday would get ORU back over the .500 mark for the season and be the first road win since topping Tulsa December 5.

• A loss Thursday would snap an eight-game winning streak within the series that includes a win in the tournament last year. ORU last lost to IUPUI 90-87 in OT January 14, 2010.

• ORU started the year 8-2, claimed the PSO Mayor's Cup for the third year in a row with a 70-68 win over Tulsa, and swept through the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic at James Madison to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.

• Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.

• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano, who has earned a league-best three Player of the Week honors already, was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.
