Power Restored To Thousands Of Sequoyah County Customers

The power is back on for thousands of people in Sequoyah County.

OG&E reported just under 3,000 customers were without power in two Sequoyah County communities early Wednesday morning.

According to its website, the outage included customers in the towns of Muldrow and Vian.  

The utility says it is unclear why the outage happened, but workers were able to restore service within an hour.
