In the world of college hoops, two Player of the Year candidates will square off Saturday.

Sooner stud Buddy Hield and LSU super freshman Ben Simmons will go head-to-head in Baton Rouge.

Simmons has been given some lofty comparisons to current NBA players, like LeBron James, and is projected to be the top draft pick.

"We'll start out with Ryan, Ryan on Simmons,” said OU head coach Lon Kruger. “He's a really smart guy defensively. He knows how good Simmons is, so he knows he'll have his hands full. Obviously, he's a really good player and if you give too much attention to him, they've got a lot of other good players around him that can step up and score."

Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. OU is projected as a four and a half point favorite.
