Officials: Prescribed Burn Gets Out Of Control In Sapulpa

Fire crews took about two hours to battle flames near 111th and 145th W. Ave in Sapulpa on Saturday.

Firefighters said a prescribed burn got out of control.

Crews initially had a hard time getting through to attack the flames because of fencing, but were able to access it through a neighbor’s property.

Threatened two houses, but no structural damage was reported.
