An alert neighbor helped police catch two people they say were stealing from a business overnight. Just before 1 a.m. Sunday, the neighbor called in to report a burglary at Wortman Heat and Air on 6th Street near Utica.

When officers arrived, they found a woman loading copper into a car parked in the alley. They arrested Broken Arrow resident Shelby Caudle, 23.

Then a K-9 officer searched around the business and found 24-year-old Casey Rowe hiding under a dumpster.  When he refused to come out, the dog bit him on the leg, records show.

Police took Rowe, a Tulsa resident, to jail after he was treated for the bite. He was booked on complaints of second-degree burglary and resisting arrest.

Caudle is in jail on a second-degree burglary complaint.
