HONOR.

Fifteen year old Katie Prior wouldn’t hear of it. When the Oklahoma City teen learned that there’s no one to play taps in person at most veterans’ funerals, she decided to do something about it. She founded the Youth Trumpet and Taps Corps. And the mission, so close to her heart, is catching on across the country. Katie heads up the training herself. Her goal is to teach students in all 50 states. Thanks to this Oklahoma teen, a special honor is being preserved for more of our military heroes. *Katie’s work has received national attention. September 2015, Katie was invited to the White House in to be honored for her efforts.
