Police Identify Body Found Near Tulsa High School

Tulsa police identified the body of a man found near Booker T. Washington High School.

Police say 26-year-old Anthony Reed was found shot in the chest near the Towne Square Apartments Tuesday morning.

Tulsa Public Schools campus police called in the discovery after students reported seeing an unresponsive man, according to Tulsa Police Sergeant C.J. Hardaway. The body was not on school property, according to an administrative spokesperson.

According to Tulsa Police sergeant, Dave Walker, just before 6:00 Monday evening, police responded to the same complex in reference to a suicidal suspect. First responders said the victim told them he was fine and was released.

Walker said it's believed around 11 p.m. Monday there was an altercation with at least two unknown suspects.
