Anadarko police are searching for two men they say were involved in a deadly shooting.

A witness tried to save the 17-year-old Bradley Bohay Sunday night, but it was too late.

News 9 spoke with Bradley's family.

A car pulled up next to the curb, just feet away from where a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed.

There is nothing here now, but the boy's family had to see for themselves.

The night before, Janet Martinez saw everything. She and her husband were watching the Super Bowl, but something outside caught their attention.

"He hears a little bit of commotion, and he sees a car parked here and another one there,” Martinez said. “Then he sees a little boy jump out of one of the vehicles, and he starts to run around this little gully here, and two other boys start chasing him."

Someone pulled out a gun.

"And then he heard a gunshot,” Martinez said.

Then they saw the boy on the ground in a drainage area.

"He starts CPR on him and then by then the police start showing up,” she said.

Police said the boy was shot once in the side with a .22 caliber gun.

"At this point, we believe it was a drug deal. We have information that is leading us in that direction,” Anadarko police Chief Jason Smith said. “There is nothing confirmed 100 percent, but that's where the investigation is taking us at this time."

Leads are taking them all over town. Right now, detectives are trying to find two persons of interest, Kaleb Knipp and Christian Rolan-Medina. Both are 19 years old and both live nearby.

Police got a search warrant for Knipp's house, where he lives with his mother. So far, police have not found either Knipp or Rolan-Medina.

"We have investigators who have been at work since eight o’clock last night, and we're working around the clock to try to put it all together,” Smith said.

Police said they have received countless tips they are pursuing.

Anyone with information about the shooting death is asked to call Anadarko police at (405) 247-2411.
